In September, 2011, Ed Essert (MMC Tenor I, retired), participated in a video on immigration that was conducted by the Waunakee (Wisconsin) Public Library through a grant from the Wisconsin Humanities Council. In this interview he and other members of the Waunakee community told their stories of where their families originated, how they came to the United States, and how they became part of the community.
