Thanks to all who attended our Spring Concert on Saturday May 3 – we hope you had a good time. Thanks also to our guest choir MGV Harmonia who wound up taking the “scenic route” from Kenosha to Madison. And special thanks to all who helped set up for the concert, prepare the food, and clean up afterward. Here are some photos (click on the thumbnails to see the larger image):
- Sandwich makers hard at work. Mmmm, blutwurst!
- Quite a few people helped out making sandwiches
- There is an art to making a good sandwich
- Maybe a bit too much paprika on this one…
- After about 90 minutes, the sandwiches are ready to go.
- The set up crew is finished with the hall…
- …and are now relaxing and replenishing fluids
- The problem with dark socks is that you tend to lose the “schwarz” out of the “schwarz-rot-gelb”
- We had a pretty good turnout for the concert
- At intermission before our guest choir took the stage
- The brown paper bag is a nice touch
- MGV Harmonia sang during intermission
- After our second set, it was time for refreshments
- The sandwiches were well received
- Almost time for the clean up crew to swing into action. Or maybe not quite yet…

Joe – great pictures!!! Got nothing but compliments on the concert for both choirs. The combined choirs were magnificent. Sandwiches were excellent. One guest commented that she would have enjoyed some mustard with the sandwiches. Something for next time.
