Our annual Stiftungsfest was held at the Essen Haus on Saturday February 15th. We had quite a good turnout despite the weather and we had a pretty good time. One of the evening’s highlights was Walter wearing the 1950s version of the MMC uniform, complete with the white coat and bow tie. My hat’s off to the former members of the choir from this era: obviously they never spilled a beer or put too much mustard on a bratwurst while in uniform!
- Folks began arriving around 6:00
- We had a pretty good turnout
- Traditional sock photo – sadly no Guinness was served tonight.
- Clockwise form the top: spaetzle, rouladen, sauerbraten, mashed potatoes, and clove flavored red cabbage
- Walter in an older version of the MMC uniform
- Thanks to social chair Greg for making the arrangements – sometimes he moves so fast that he’s just a blur
- A few words from President Blatter
- There seems to be a lot of empty beer glasses at that table…

I sing with a small choir out side of Chicago, Ill. I believe we came and helped celebrate one of your mile stone anniversary the 100th maybe. I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed looking at your web site and all the things you are doing . In music from the Harlem Maenner und Damen Chor Judy Huether
