With the start of Madison Männerchor’s 158th season, MMC’s new web presence is being rolled out! Why not simply say web site? Well, there is more than just a web site. We are using technology to reach out farther than before. Now there is a web site, a blog, more outgoing links to other choir and music sites, and new links to sites that are of interest to ourselves and to our friends.
We provide useful links for our members and visitors throughout the MMC web site. For example, there are links to Amazon and SheetMusicPlus right on our pages. Just try the links, and let us know how they work for you. Now, what about the outreach I mentioned earlier? I came across this from Constant Contact,
The free trial made it possible to see if Constant Contact was the medium for us. It easily handled the monthly newsletters and outreach emails. A pleasing, eye-catching special events notice could now be put together in just a few minutes. A monthly newsletter, a bit longer. Already our members say they appreciate the additional reminders and new information. Another nice touch is that anyone receiving our newsletter can forward it to a friend, and that friend can add his or her name to our mailing list. It’s that simple. People who receive the newsletter can use the link at the bottom of the newsletter sent to them to update their contact information or remove their names from the list.
The web site was built using Microsoft® Expression Web 2. This remarkable software supports many of the current trends in web design, content development and publishing. I’d like to talk about this software in a later blog. Enough of what I have to say – for now. Do you have any first impressions of our new web site? 🙂

I think our new website looks fantastic! Great job, Morris.
