Why not simply say web site? Well, there is more than just a web site. We are using technology to reach out farther than before. Now there is a web site, a blog, more outgoing links to other choir and music sites, and\u00a0new links to sites that are of interest to ourselves and to our friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->We\u00a0 provide\u00a0useful links for our members and visitors throughout the MMC web site. For example, there are links to <a title=\"Visit Amazon for Great Deals in Almost Anything!\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com?_encoding=UTF8&amp;tag=madisomaenn04-20\" target=\"_blank\">Amazon <\/a>and <a title=\"Sheet Music Plus has a large selection\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sheetmusicplus.com\/?id=422769\" target=\"_blank\">SheetMusicPlus <\/a>right on our pages.\u00a0Just try the links, and let us know how they <a title=\"Are the links working for you?\" href=\"mailto:\/\/info@madisonmaennerchor.org\" target=\"_blank\">work for you<\/a>. Now, what about the outreach I mentioned earlier? Try our no risk FREE 60-Day Trial. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The free trial made it possible to see if Constant Contact was the medium for us.\u00a0It\u00a0easily \u00a0handled the\u00a0monthly newsletters and outreach emails.\u00a0A\u00a0pleasing, eye-catching special events notice could now\u00a0be put together in\u00a0just a few minutes. A monthly newsletter, a bit longer.\u00a0Already our members say they appreciate\u00a0the additional reminders and new information. Another nice touch is that anyone receiving our newsletter can forward it to a friend, and that friend can add his or her name to our mailing list. It&#8217;s that simple. People who receive the newsletter can use the link at the bottom of the newsletter sent to <strong>them<\/strong>\u00a0to update their contact information or\u00a0remove their names from the list.<\/p>\n<p>The web site was built using Microsoft\u00ae <a title=\"Microsoft Expression Web helps build web sites that work\" href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/expression\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Expression Web 2<\/a>. This\u00a0remarkable software supports many of the current trends in web design, content development and publishing. I&#8217;d like to talk about this software in a later blog.
